Profile

Bryn is a mergers and acquisitions specialist with more than 11 years in MinterEllison's corporate team. He has broad experience in both buy-side and sell-side transactions for public and private clients across a range of industries. Bryn has a particular focus on in-bound investment having advised SOEs, listed entities and private businesses on how to navigate the complexities of Australian corporate law, the foreign investment regime and manage other key regulatory risks relevant to his clients.

Bryn also has deep experience advising clients on ongoing operational matters relevant to their business, such as commercial contracting, divestments, restructures, capital raising and joint ventures, particularly in the energy and resources, agribusiness and technology sectors. His practice covers the full spectrum of corporate governance and management issues including continuous disclosure, directors' duties, reporting compliance and managing interactions with regulators, such as FIRB, ASIC and the ASX. As such, he is able to provide clear and practical solutions to his clients to manage their legal risks in both transactions and day to day operations. Clients regularly comment on Bryn's technical expertise, the practicality of his advice and negotiation style, and his commitment to deal execution.

Bryn is a member of the Corporations Committee of the Business Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Resources Committee of the Australia China Business Council.
