His experience includes the representation of lessees, buyers, sellers and developers of commercial real estate as well as lenders and borrowers in lending transactions.

Representative experience:

• Represented Occidental Petroleum Corporation in the $565 million sale and subsequent leaseback of the former campus of Anadarko Petroleum, consisting of two Class AAA towers totaling approximately 1.4 million square feet of office space, a 125,000-square-foot warehouse and 9.3 acres of developable land in The Woodlands, Texas, and the sale of Occidental’s Century Park Campus located on 63 acres in the West Houston Energy Corridor, consisting of 17 office buildings totaling approximately 1.3 million square feet of office space to The Howard Hughes Corporation. 
• Represented GID Investment Advisers LLC with their $79 million acquisition from an affiliate of Oden Hughes of the 350-unit Lenox Ridge (now Windsor Ridge) apartment complex in North Austin, Texas.
• Represented a client in the $168 million sale of a landmark hotel and adjacent property in downtown Houston.
• Represented a client in the acquisition, financing, redevelopment and leasing of a historic hotel in the heart of the Houston Medical Center.
• Represented various charter school clients with property acquisitions located in various Texas and Florida markets for the development of charter school campuses. These transactions involved donation agreements, lease-backs, boundary disputes, land swaps, restrictive covenant de-annexations, re-annexations and development agreements.
• Represented a client in the development and sale of a luxury high-rise condominium project.
• Represented borrowers in various transactions secured by real and personal property.
