Chester oversees all business operations, people and ventures in Boardroom Business Solutions in Singapore, Malaysia and Greater China. He is responsible for developing and executing the company’s business strategies.

Before joining Boardroom Business Solutions, Chester had worked in the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), Ministry of Finance (MoF) and Ernst and Young. In IRAS, Chester specialised mainly in tax assessments and tax rulings. In MoF, Chester was part of the tax policy team in charge of formulating Singapore tax policies and incentive programs (e.g. Productivity and Innovation Credit Scheme and Maritime Sector Incentive).

As a tax manager in Ernst and Young, Chester was responsible for providing tax advisory and compliance services to a diversified portfolio of public listed, multinational and privately owned companies. He also conducts regular seminars and workshops on Singapore tax and enterprise incentives for MNCs, local SMEs and members of the Singapore Business Federation.
