Profile

Chris Lam is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer who helps clients protect their business interests in disputes related to contracts, business torts, product liability, earn-outs, trade secrets, non-competes, LLCs and partnerships, defamation, motorsports, and private equity investments. He is lead North America product liability counsel for a Fortune 200 manufacturer and regularly represents public corporations, middle market companies, start-up businesses and individuals in state and federal courts across the country, including the North Carolina Business Court. Clients praise Chris for his “client-focused, personable, and effective” approach (Chambers USA 2020).

Chris also regularly counsels his clients in business issues and contract drafting and negotiation. His clients rely on him for effective and efficient resolution of a range of legal needs, including employment law, real estate, corporate, and tax matters.

He has been recognized in numerous leading attorney directories, including The Best Lawyers in America®Chambers USASuper Lawyers, Legal Elite, and Benchmark Litigation.

Chris is the managing partner of Bradley’s Charlotte office and is also a leader in several professional and civic organizations. He is a past president of the Mecklenburg County Bar and is past co-chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Administration of Justice Committee. Additionally, Chris is a past chair of the Business Litigation Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), an invitation-only, peer-reviewed organization of approximately 2,500 attorneys from more than 50 countries around the world. Finally, he is a trustee of North Carolina Humanities and previously served on the Board of Visitors for Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy.
