Dan practices primarily in the areas of employment litigation and labor arbitration. Dan has represented public and private employers in hundreds of arbitration cases involving a panoply of discipline and contract issues. He also has represented employers in arbitrations under the American Arbitration Association's rules governing executive employment contracts.

Dan also represents private employers in matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and public employers in matters before the Public Employees Relations Board (PERB), in addition to other administrative proceedings on behalf of employers.

He also has extensive experience in the litigation of wrongful discharge and employment discrimination cases. He has successfully defended such cases in jury trials in both state and federal courts.
