David specialises in assisting clients with the delivery of major infrastructure, property and resources projects, including advising on project delivery methods, preparing tender and contract documents and assisting with the management and resolution of disputes.  He provides a 'cradle to grave' service, advising on the full lifecyle of a construction project.

David understands that appropriate risk allocation and management is fundamental to a project's success.   He regularly acts for owners, contractors and engineers and understands the roles they play and the key risks they face in project delivery.

David has extensive government experience, regularly acting for the State of Queensland and various government owned corporations and statutory authorities, particularly in the rail, power and water sectors.  He is a recognised government procurement specialist.

David also has extensive experience acting for owners and contractors in the energy and resources sector, particularly with drafting and negotiating mining services agreements, mine development agreements and a broad range of procurement contracts, and advising on disputes arising under those contracts.

David regularly provides training to clients on project delivery models, contract administration and dispute resolution in the construction industry.
