Profile

Sawyer Neely is a Dallas trial lawyer. His practice is primarily focused on business and commercial litigation, but he also helps individuals to resolve significant personal disputes. Sawyer has tried cases in state and federal courts, and he has extensive experience in matters involving complex business disputes, employee and physician non-compete agreements, wrongful termination, breach of contract, fraudulent transfer, misappropriation of trade secrets, the False Claims Act, breach of fiduciary duty, and direct and derivative shareholder claims. Sawyer routinely handles preliminary issues involving enforcement of arbitration and forum selection clauses, venue disputes, personal jurisdiction challenges, and anti-SLAPP motions.

Sawyer represents major financial services institutions in connection with allegations of wrongful foreclosure proceedings and claims under the False Claims Act, Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and state and federal debt collection and deceptive trade practices statutes. He has also represented such clients in False Claims Act whistleblower litigation.

Sawyer has been retained by businesses to conduct independent internal investigations regarding workplace safety, sexual, gender or racial discrimination and/or harassment and environmental compliance. He also acts as local counsel for out-of-state corporations and lawyers with Texas litigation.

Sawyer's skill set is comprehensive, and he works tirelessly on behalf of his clients to solve their problems in the most efficient and strategic manner possible.
