Edgar is an Associate of BLP in the San Jose office. He specializes in the practice area of Dispute Resolution, advising national and international clients in conciliation processes to settle disputes prior to going to the arbitration or judicial proceedings. He has experience in the management and handling of national and international disputes related to commercial, civil, criminal and consumer law. He also has experience in judicial and arbitration cases related to the representation of foreign housing and construction projects.

In addition, he has experience in the study and application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods in the Costa Rican legal system.

He joined the BLP team in 2013 as a legal assistant and was appointed Associate in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, he was a legal assistant at Rivero y Asociados for 2 years.
