Profile

Elisabetta Gardini developed extensive experience in the environmental and energy law sectors. She assisted clients with respect to environmental law issues and, in particular, to waste management, clean up of contaminated sites and on the implementation of the Emission Trading directive.  Elisabetta has also provided assistance within civil and criminal proceedings on environmental damage liability and before Administrative regional courts within proceedings on energy and gas issues. As to the energy sector, she has also been involved in the development of several energy projects involving renewable energy sources (wind power and photovoltaic projects) both at the due diligence stage and administrative litigation issues. In this sector, Elisabetta has worked on the incentives regimes for the different energy sources (the incentives regimes for the sun projects, the green certificates and the CIP 6/92).

After period of pre-graduation study at the University of California, San Diego in 2001, she gradued in Law maxima cum laude from the University of Bologna in 2002. Elisabetta has also been seconded for 6 months to the Environmental Law Group in the London office of a leading international law firm, where she gained experience in advising on EU Directives on environmental issues. Elisabetta has enriched her experience, teaching at post-graduate courses on Environmental Law.

She is a member of the Milan BAR Association.

She speaks Italian, English, French.
