Profile

Work with the other side when possible, litigate when necessary

Emily Feinstein is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer who works with clients to find solutions for disputes without litigation whenever possible and through the courts when necessary. Building on extensive knowledge of her clients’ businesses, industries and business practices, she works efficiently to resolve disputes related to:

  • Health care, including disputes for and against providers as well as billing disputes between providers and payors
  • Consumer law, especially disputes involving vacation ownership law
  • Trade secrets
  • Commercial transactions

In addition, Emily is a leader in helping survivors of domestic violence obtain protective injunctions to prevent their abusers from contacting them. Seeing a greater need than she could meet, Emily created a network of attorneys in the Madison area to represent these clients, and she regularly trains attorneys on how to represent clients in these situations.
