Profile

Eric is an experienced litigator who has successfully defended an array of clients in product liability, transportation and commercial matters in Federal and State courts throughout the Northeast. Eric has extensive experience representing auto insurance policyholders, delivery services and trucking industry companies in matters encompassing catastrophic loss from vehicle collisions and accidents, resulting in wrongful death, serious personal injury, and property damage.

In 2017/18, Eric completed a six-month secondment with a major international automotive company based in Detroit, Michigan, acting as their de-facto head of litigation overseeing hundreds of claims nationally involving personal injury and wrongful death. This experience has given him unique insights into the automotive industry and enables him to provide his clients with comprehensive, up-to-date advice on all motor vehicle related matters. Eric and his colleagues have developed a network of professionals including expert consultants, engineers and technicians, investigators and accident reconstructionist to provide critical assistance to the defense of his clients.

Eric also successfully represents clients and insureds in product, commercial and premises liability matters including service providers to colleges and universities, hospitals and entertainment venues, manufacturers of industrial and safety equipment products, automotive and farm equipment, software and automated services, food and beverage companies, and medical device manufacturers.

Further, Eric provides counsel to companies ranging from Fortune 500 to startups nearing launch by providing full-scale risk analysis and developing protocols, procedures, and training to reduce future litigation, indemnity, and defense costs. In all matters, Eric works closely with his clients, learning as much as he can about their businesses, operations, aspirations, sensitivities and philosophies so he can creatively and efficiently solve their problems.

Outside of the office, Eric proudly serves on the Board of Directors at Hill House, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a sense of urban community through service activities that meet the diverse social, educational, recreational, and cultural needs of families residing in Boston’s neighborhoods. He also serves on the Board of the Friends of Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields, which oversees the restoration and maintenance of the much-loved youth athletic fields on Boston’s famed Esplanade. Eric resides in South Boston with his wife and three children.
