Career highlights

Capital transactions

  • Dexus: Advised on its bid to acquire a portfolio of 45 industrial and logistics properties across Australia for ~$3.5 billion.
  • Dexus: Advised on the disposal of the 'Blue Tower' and 'The Annex' at 12 Creek Street for $420 million and the disposal of the 'Gold Tower' at 10 Eagle Street, Brisbane for $285 million. These transactions represented some of the first and largest commercial office towers to transact in Queensland in the post-COVID-19 environment.
  • Stockland: Advised on the disposal of numerous retail, commercial and mixed use developments across Australia including the portfolio disposal of 'The Pines Shopping Centre' and 'Caloundra Shopping Centre' for Stockland for an aggregate value of $265 million.
  • AMP Capital: Advised on the acquisition and disposal of numerous commercial office buildings and retail shopping centres throughout Australia, including the purchase of a 50% interest in Indooroopilly Shopping Centre in Brisbane in 2017 for A$800 million.
  • Nuveen Global: Advised on the disposal of a 75% share interest in Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre for $275 million – being the largest retail disposal in Queensland (by value) during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Fortius: Advised on the disposal of 201 Charlotte Street, Brisbane for $127 million in 2019.

Leasing transactions

  • Fortius: Advised on the anchor tenant lease to Anglo American Metallurgical Coal of its Australian head office premises at 201 Charlotte Street, Brisbane (~8,000m²).
  • MaxiTRANS: Advised on its agreement to lease a custom designed and built manufacturing and storage facility at Carole Park (~13,500m²).
  • Maintain a portfolio of commercial and retail leasing work for key clients including Australian Unity, Dexus, Fortius and Mirvac, including the redevelopment of the retail precinct at 25 Martin Place, Sydney for Dexus.
