Profile

Farron Curry is an experienced litigator who helps Schwabe’s clients resolve and prevent business and employment-related disputes.

A formidable courtroom advocate

Farron regularly assists manufacturers, distributors and retailers who are facing complex litigation matters involving commercial and/or employment-related claims. She has successfully represented clients through all stages of litigation in Washington state and federal courts, including a number of arbitrations and trials. Farron is a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel's Trial Academy, where the faculty identified her as "a leader" and "one of the group's best."

Real life solutions

Growing up in a family that made its living in the food, beverage and grocery business, Farron gained first-hand insight into the issues manufacturers, retailers and business owners confront on a daily basis. Farron never assumes to know her client's or opponent's end goal. She always asks. Then, with that intel, she strives to find creative solutions that meet her client's objectives (just ask her about the time she literally searched for buried gold to help a client satisfy a judgment).

A valuable business resource

Farron's extensive litigation experience allows her to provide reliable, practical advice about how to avoid a lawsuit altogether. She regularly gives advice and presentations on employment and business-related issues, like employee discipline and termination, discrimination and harassment, disability and accommodation, wage and hour issues like Seattle's Paid Sick and Safe Time law, non-competition agreements, warranty and consumer protection issues, and judgment collection.
