Has been the leading counsel in more than half-dozen energy-related transactions and advising foreign client and international energy companies, with respect to energy legislation and various aspects of their energy projects in Turkey.
Has been a member of the core team in the public offerings of Vestel White Goods, Coca-Cola Icecek, Eastpharma (Deva Holding) and TÜPRAŞ bond offering. Mr. Pekin also acted as one of the leading legal counsels in the public offering of Aksa Enerji, Halkbank secondary offering and the public offering projects for a digital platform company, mining company and real estate investment company.
Has been representing various private equity funds in their projects in Turkey and providing counseling for legal and real foreign persons in various aspects and issues, including, employment matters, acquisition of companies and real property in Turkey, general corporate transactions, contract review and regulatory legal advice and applications to various governmental authorities.
His law school education focused on international private and public law, international human rights, business transactions, commercial paper and negotiable instruments, financing and securities, international intellectual property law.
