For more than a decade, Fernando has honed his abilities as a lawyer. In his practice area, Real Estate & Hospitality, he has been closely involved in the development, structuring, financing, and purchase and sale of real estate projects in the coastal and urban areas of Costa Rica. In addition, he has garnered expertise in the analysis of property deeds, incorporation of condos, cadastral issues, and urban planning topics. After starting out as a legal assistant at KMPG, Fernando joined BLP in the same position in 2003. A year later, he was promoted to Associate. In 2010, he left the firm temporarily to serve as Assistant Legal Manager of the Growth Unit for Central America at Walmart Mexico and Central America. He returned to the BLP in 2011. Fernando obtained his Law degree from the Universidad de Costa Rica. He is based in San José, Costa Rica.
