Garry has more than 25 years experience advising public and private companies and high net worth individuals in relation to taxation law, commercial law and trusts.

Garry's practice spans all industry sectors, including telecommunications, media, transport, infrastructure, aged care, technology and not-for-profit, and involves working with MinterEllison's overseas offices to handle taxation issues for Australian and international clients.

With a strong understanding of federal and state revenue and tax law, Garry is able to advise on a broad range of commercial issues such as corporate structurings, planning and transactions. A particular interest in personal taxes has led to a specialty practice in this area which covers employee share/option/incentive schemes, remuneration packaging, terminations, claims and settlements, child care arrangements, superannuation matters, and tax disputes and litigation. Garry provides business and estate planning advice to high net worth individuals including advice on structuring, testamentary trusts and asset protection.
