Hunter Pearce joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group following a one-year appointment as a law clerk to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, where he served Chief Judge W. Keith Watkins and Senior Judges Myron H. Thompson and W. Harold Albritton III. This appointment gave him a breadth of experience in federal civil and criminal matters.

Hunter earned his J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as editor in chief of the Alabama Law Review, a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board, and president of the Federalist Society. Upon graduation, he was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Hunter holds a B.A. in Political Science from Auburn University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and earned distinction as a University Honors Scholar. While an undergraduate, Hunter served as a legislative intern for United States Senator Jeff Sessions.
