Significant Accomplishments
Laboratorios Saval’s entry into the pharmaceutical market in Costa Rica. BLP advised Saval throughout the acquisition process of Laboratorios Stein’s operations in Costa Rica, including the performance of due diligence, the structuring of the transaction, the negotiation of the purchase agreement and ancillary contracts, and the entry of Saval into the Costa Rican market through the obtention of the applicable permits and the hiring of 170 employees.
First acquisition of Culligan Water in Central America. BLP represented Culligan Water in the acquisition of a controlling interest in Más Pura, a water purifying company with offices in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panamá, Perú, and Chile.
Acquisition of WeWork by Grupo Garnier. BLP advised the client throughout the process, including due diligence, drafting the SPA, reviewing and negotiating lease agreements, and closing the transaction.
