Profile

Ingrid has practiced Business Law for over two decades, advising local and transnational companies on day to day matters, while remaining active in mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and restructurings. In addition, she informs companies on regulatory issues, franchises, and legal developments in the real estate industry. After working as a consultant at the New York law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Ingrid joined BLP as an associate in 2011. Her previous affiliations include the law firms Soley & Soley and Carazo Montero & Fernandez, where she apprenticed as a legal assistant. After studying at Tulane University School of Law in 1993, Ingrid obtained her Law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Centro América (UAM) in 1995. She went on to earn a master’s degree in Corporate, Banking and Finance Law from Fordham University School of Law in 2002. Ingrid is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Lloverá Comida foundation, as well as the Women Rainmakers of the American Bar Association. She has participated in several local and international congresses on topics related to her practice area. Ingrid is based in San José, Costa Rica.
