Profile

Jamee Munster is an associate in the Franchise Practice Group in the Dallas office of Haynes and Boone. Her practice focuses in the areas of franchise and distribution law where she supports clients in the structuring and operation of domestic franchise programs and international expansion, including drafting franchise-related agreements and assisting in compliance with domestic and international franchise disclosure and registration requirements.

Jamee spent her first five years of practice representing small and large entities in commercial contract and business tort disputes in both state and federal courts. She served a diverse group of clients on a wide range of legal matters, including franchise and distribution disputes, business and contract litigation, trademark infringement, breach of fiduciary duty claims and SEC enforcement litigation. Jamee’s litigation background provides a unique perspective when representing her clients in transactions.

When not serving her clients, Jamee is dedicated to serving her community. As a native resident of the Dallas area, Jamee stays active in local college and alumni groups and enjoys her membership in several local bar associations. Jamee also enjoys serving on the firm’s March for Dimes committee and devotes much of her time to the firm’s recruiting efforts.

While in law school, Jamee served as a member of the Texas Tech Law Review and board of barristers, she enjoyed success in and traveled the country for various advocacy competitions, and she was unanimously selected by the law school faculty for the Excellence in Service Award.
