Profile

Jennifer advises resource companies, including mining companies and other private sector clients, on regulatory and environmental matters. Jennifer's environmental experience includes advising clients on requirements for environmental assessments, project permitting, and contaminated sites due diligence and remediation. Jennifer also conducts mineral title reviews and advises on mineral tenures, other subsurface tenures, and on surface interests, often in the context of acquisition due diligence or project financing. Jennifer advises clients in the energy sector, and has also assisted in regulatory matters such as public utility rate-setting, tariffs, and access to transmission and storage.

Prior to enrolling in law school, Jennifer worked as an electrical engineering consultant before co-founding a software company. She ran the engineering department there for eight years, and successfully managed the group through two acquisitions.
