
Jonathan Roux
Associate
Jonathan Roux is an associate in ENSafrica's project development and project finance department.
He specialises in engineering, procurement and construction ("EPC") and operation and maintenance ("O&M") agreements. He has a specific focus on cross-border and domestic engineering, development and construction projects in the renewable energy (particularly solar energy and wind energy), mining and infrastructure sectors as well as power purchase agreements, project service agreements, procurement contracts, interpretation of project agreements, execution of projects and related security documents for EPC and O&M agreements.
Jonathan has worked on numerous project financed, balance sheet and refinanced deals which span Sub-Saharan Africa (including South Africa, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Rwanda and Uganda) in the energy, mining and infrastructure sectors, namely the financing and developing of: solar photovoltaic plants and wind farms, particularly in the context of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement (REIPPP) programme in South Africa; open cast and underground mines and the mining of, among other minerals and metals, coal, chrome, manganese, gold and copper; and infrastructure including hotels, hospitals and campuses.
