During his 17 years in the legal profession, Jose Pablo has gained extensive litigation experience in Advertising, Marketing & Consumer Protection, and Dispute Resolution. In his Advertising, Marketing & Consumer Protection practice, Jose Pablo reviews advertising materials, image rights, promotions, unfair competition, and other commercial issues. Regarding Competition & Antitrust, Jose Pablo has experience structuring the approval of mergers to avoid monopolies, the filing and defense of legal actions before the relevant authorities, and the conduction of audits and compliance programs to help prevent and avoid anti-competitive behaviors. Jose Pablo joined BLP as an associate in 2015, after the merger with Weinstok Abogados where he worked as an associate for ten years. Before this, he worked at the law firm Bufete Gutiérrez & Campos. Jose Pablo obtained his Law degree from the Universidad Escuela Libre de Derecho in 2001. Jose Pablo is based in San José, Costa Rica.
