His practice areas include administrative law and regulatory law. He has represented clients in complex public law litigation cases before federal and local courts. Moreover, he has broad expertise in government procurement, public works, concession contracts, infrastructure projects, and regulated industries.
Prior to joining Beccar Varela, he worked at Cassagne Abogados.
He is a graduate teaching assistant of â€œElements of Administrative Lawâ€ at the Universidad de Buenos Aires Law School since 2015. From 2013 to 2018, he served as a graduate teaching assistant in administrative law at the Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Also, he has taught at the Specialization Program in State, Local and Federal Law of the City of Buenos Aires General Attorney Office, at the Specialization in Administrative Law of the Universidad de Belgrano and the Specialization in Administrative Law of the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza. Additionally, he was a research assistant for Professor Jose E. Alvarez at New York University. He has authored various articles and participated as a speaker in seminars and conferences on Public Law.
He is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association, the Colegio de Abogados de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, and the La Plata Bar Association (Province of Buenos Aires). He is also registered at the Federal Court of Appeals of La Plata, being able also to practice at Federal Courts located in the Province of Buenos Aires.
Juan Pablo obtained his Law degree from Universidad Nacional de La Plata (2010). He was awarded the Joaquin V. Gonzalez distinction, conferred to the highest GPA of the class. Later, he did a Specialization in Economic Administrative Law at the Universidad Catolica Argentina (2012) and obtained an LL.M. at New York University, as a Fulbright Scholar and Michael A. Schwind Scholar in Global Law (2019).
