During her 15 years as a lawyer, Karla has specialized in Business Law, Banking & Finance, and Intellectual Property. Presently, however, she is a member of BLP’s Predictabill department, a legal practice of the Firm that assists companies in pre-established corporate day-to-day issues. Following BLP’s merger with Weinstock Abogados, at which Karla had worked as an associate for three years, she joined BLP as an Associate in 2015. Previously, Karla had been an associate at Arias & Muñoz and GHP Abogados, and a legal assistant at Fernández López & Asociados. She earned her Law degree from Universidad De La Salle in 2003. Karla has participated in several annual meetings of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Inter-American Intellectual Property Association (ASIPI). She is a founding member of the Costa Rican Association of Intellectual Property Professionals (APPICR). Karla is based in San José, Costa Rica.
