Katrien started her professional career at the Flemish government. First, she treated the requests for “exemption of succession tax for the inheritance of family companies” at the Flemish Tax Service.

Later, she worked at the Flemish Ministry of Finance and Budget on the policy aspect of the rules with regard to the inheritance of family owned companies and in general on inheritance and registration tax.
