Kristel van Rensburg is an Executive at ENSafrica in the Tax department. She specialises in taxation in the mining sector.

She has advised clients in a number of sectors, including mining, retail and private equity.

Kristel’s experience includes advising clients on direct corporate tax, withholding taxes, tax administration and tax compliance (including mineral royalty returns), as well as on tax efficient acquisition, restructure and funding structures. She has also advised on new and existing employment share incentive schemes, and black economic empowerment (BEE) schemes.

In addition to her tax consulting experience, Kristel was also involved in developing and implementing legislation regarding funding for acquisition transactions utilising group relief provisions in the Income Tax Act.
