Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP

Profile

Lane Webster has counseled a wide array of clients in the technology, healthcare, sports, and financial services sectors – from multimillion-dollar corporations to corporate whistleblowers.

No stranger to high-stakes litigation, Lane has effectively pursued healthcare qui tam cases, defended securities fraud allegations against FDA-regulated vendors, and represented the NFL’s No. 1 running back in a high-profile union spat.

He is adroit at handling cases involving the False Claims Act, Securities Act, class actions, investor disputes, Stark and Anti-Kickback statutes, and enjoys tracking legal developments involving artificial intelligence.

Prior to joining Bradley, Lane spent a brief stint in Washington, D.C., working at a boutique law and lobbying firm, advising trade associations and organizations – including “Fuel up to Play 60,” the youth wellness campaign endorsed by the First Lady – on regulatory compliance.

Lane began his legal career clerking for the Hon. Jorge A. Solis, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Lane earned his J.D., with honors, from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, where he published an article on patent litigation damages in SMU’s Science & Tech Law Review. He earned his B.S. from Texas A&M University.
