Leith is a Partner in MinterEllison's Perth office with more than 20 years experience in dispute resolution and insolvency matters. Leith works with some of Australia's largest financial institutions and insolvency practitioners. His practice encompasses many areas of corporate finance, including financial services, structured finance, and business structuring, but he is a specialist in insolvency and reconstruction.

A successful litigator, Leith acts in relation to receiverships, liquidations, administrations, mortgage enforcement issues and bankruptcies. His dispute resolution expertise also covers contractual disputes and civil claims, debt recovery and security enforcement. He also advises in relation to directors' duties, distressed debt trading and acquisitions, turnarounds or workouts, and voluntary administration.

Leith regularly acts in and conducts insolvency and general commercial proceedings in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the Federal Court of Australia. Leith's banking clients include NAB, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, BankWest, St George and ANZ. He also works with Ernst & Young, Ferrier Hodgson, FTI Consulting Australia, Grant Thornton, KordaMentha, KPMG, McGrathNicol, PPB Advisory, Pitcher Partners and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
