Profile
Hospitals, health systems, physician practices, life sciences companies, and medical device manufacturers benefit from LoriBeth Westbrook’s rich background in the healthcare industry. Before beginning her legal career, LoriBeth gained ten years of valuable experience in the pharmaceuticals sector where she worked extensively with clients ranging from primary care practices and post-acute care providers to community mental healthcare centers and behavioral care providers. This experience gives her unique insight into the challenges healthcare clients face in connection with government and internal investigations, medical malpractice litigation, complex products liability matters, and mass torts litigation. LoriBeth views her legal practice as an important extension of the work being performed by healthcare providers and manufacturers of healthcare-related products and services, and she strives to find ways to help clients minimize the disruption caused by government investigations and complex litigation so they can focus on their primary mission of improving the lives of patients.

LoriBeth is currently assisting an operator of skilled nursing facilities in a False Claims Act investigation conducted by the Department of Justice Civil Frauds Section and two U.S. Attorney’s Offices. Additionally, LoriBeth is a member of the Waller team defending an investor-owned healthcare corporation in multiple medical malpractice cases.
