Profile

Louis Christe is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Arbitration Team. He advices in commercial disputes and represents parties in both domestic and international arbitrations, before State Courts as well as in enforcement proceedings and legal assistance matters.

Louis Christe’s expertise covers complex cases involving different jurisdictions, authorities and languages. Louis Christe has especially gained experience in commercial disputes under institutional arbitration rules (including ICC, LCIA and Swiss Rules). Louis Christe worked in numerous complex and high-value arbitrations in different industries, such as post M&A disputes, distribution, purchase and service agreements, construction and aviation. His professional experience also includes complex proceedings before State Authorities also conducted in Italian and in French.

Louis Christe studied law at the University of Fribourg (MLaw 2015) and at the East China University of Political Science and Law. During his studies, he worked as an intern in a major law firm in Geneva. After his studies and before joining Walder Wyss as an associate, he worked as a trainee lawyer at Walder Wyss Zurich and Lugano as well as a legal counsel for an accounting firm.

Louis Christe speaks Italian, French, German and English.
