Drawing on more than 35 years of litigation experience, Madeleine currently devotes her practice to arbitration and to consulting on complex litigation matters. She has been a member of the American Arbitration Association Roster of Neutral Arbitrators since 2001, and has arbitrated many complex business disputes, including numerous matters involving multimillion-dollar damage claims. Her arbitrations have involved a wide range of industries, including publishing, securities, insurance, and health care.

Previously, Madeleine was responsible for developing and managing the litigation department of her Connecticut firm. She litigated disputes involving corporate transactions and governance, unfair competition, intellectual property, securities fraud, and employment issues. She also represented hospitals in matters involving regulatory agencies and professional staff. She has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell for more than 30 years.

Madeleine divides her time between homes in Westport, Connecticut, and New York City. She is an avid tennis player; walker; and theater, ballet, and concert goer; and an enthusiastic but poor golfer.
