Profile

Madison S. Laskowski is a government policy attorney in Dykema’s Lansing office. Her practice focuses on licensing matters, political compliance, administrative law, and consumer finance regulation. In Michigan, Ms. Laskowski has represented the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy in arbitration as a Special Assistant Attorney General.

Ms. Laskowski graduated magna cum laude from the Michigan State University College of Law. She was awarded a full-tuition academic scholarship for Excellence in Oral Advocacy for all years of attendance. While in law school, Ms. Laskowski was admitted to a rigorous two-year trial practicum program, where she earned her Certificate in Litigation. 

Throughout law school, Ms. Laskowski worked as a law clerk for a national bank headquartered in East Lansing, Michigan. During her time with the bank, Ms. Laskowski worked on a myriad of regulatory issues surrounding the financial services industry. She has also worked with the Michigan Association of Governmental Employees, helping represent State of Michigan Employees who work in non-exclusively represented positions. Prior to joining Dykema, Ms. Laskowski worked in the employment law sector, assisting those who have experienced discrimination and other injustices in the workplace.

Before attending law school, Ms. Laskowski worked in the legal department of the Dow Chemical Company, where she assisted with employment disputes, litigation preparation, and document retention policies. Ms. Laskowski obtained her undergraduate degree at Saginaw Valley State University.
