Maria Carisetti is an associate in the Construction Practice Group. She assists contractors, subcontractors, developers, and engineers in a variety of construction and renewable energy projects, from residential to commercial development and industrial to utility-scale facilities in the Carolinas and nationwide. Maria drafts and negotiates engineering, procurement, and construction agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, and many other project agreements. She also advises on regulatory and code compliance issues, including contractor and other trade licensing across the country. Maria provides strategic advice to clients in construction disputes, including mechanic’s lien and contractual interpretation issues.

Maria received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and her B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from Virginia Tech with concentrations in Legal Studies and Environmental Politics and Policy.
