Profile
Mike Colgan specializes in civil litigation and has represented clients in cases in more than 30 states. He is a highly experienced trial lawyer, with extensive experience in complex tort and business disputes, including product liability, professional liability, breach of contract, intellectual property, insurance coverage, trade regulation, trade secret, construction, business torts, and class actions. He is an elected member of the American Law Institute, where he has served as a consulting member of the Restatement of Torts, the Restatement of Restitution, the Restatement of Law Governing Lawyers, and the Complex Litigation Project. Mike has served as a bar examiner, taught trial practice to law students, and written and lectured on trial topics.
