Michael Camilleri is an Associate, forming part of the IP and TMT departments of the firm. Having joined the firm as a legal trainee in 2014, Michael gained experience in civil law, commercial law, competition law and intellectual property law. He graduated from the University of Malta in 2016, after having successfully submitted a doctoral thesis entitled 'The Right to the Exclusive Use of a Registered Trademark'. Michael then went on to graduate as a Master of Laws in 'Innovation, Technology and the Law' from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 where he specialised in intellectual property, IT law, privacy law and the law relating to artificial intelligence. His main areas of practise are intellectual property, data protection, ecommerce law and general commercial law.
