She has experience advising companies in the aqueduct and sewerage system sector, and participating in the development of hydro electrical infrastructure projects specially its environmental legal issues. Moreover, she worked as a Director of Urban Law in the Secretary of Urban Planning of BogotÃ¡ participating in the law-making process of the land use regulation in BogotÃ¡. At Brigard Urrutia Ms. Hernandez currently joins as an Associate the Natural Resources and Environmental Law and Real Estate Practice Groups. She advises national and international clients on urban and real estate law. Additionally, she counsels clients on matters relating to environmental issues, climate change, mining and hydrocarbons.
Lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, she holds a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from the same university. Ms HernÃ¡ndez as well a specialist title in Environmental Law from the Universidad del Rosario and in Administrative Law from the Unviresidad Externado de Colombia. Furthermore, she graduated with an LL.M. in Environmental Law at New York University School of Law.
