Neyma Figueroa practices commercial litigation as an associate in Dykema’s San Antonio, Texas office. Her practice focuses primarily on financial services, first-party insurance defense and coverage matters, business contract and tort disputes, as well as finance litigation including suits arising under the Real Estate Settlement Procedure Act (RESPA), the Texas Debt Collection Practices Act (TDCA), and the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA).

Ms. Figueroa graduated with honors from Baylor University School of Law, where she represented Baylor at various moot court and mock trial competitions across the country, was selected as a Top Five Speaker, and was awarded the Order of Barrister. Her experience includes a summer clerkship with the Honorable Judge Bobby Baldock of the U.S. Tenth Court of Appeals, whom she credits with her writing skills, as well as an internship with U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeff Manske of the Western District of Texas. Ms. Figueroa’s intuition in the court room and written advocacy skill have helped her achieve many successful outcomes.
