Nick focuses his practice on patent preparation and prosecution, as well as invalidity and non-infringement opinions. His practice includes a wide variety of technological areas including machine learning/artificial intelligence, robotics, optics, control systems, software, automotive, and power semiconductors amongst others. More specifically, Nick is a firm-leader in all aspects of artificial intelligence, such as the fields of generative artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, autonomous vehicles, electronic document retrieval, cybersecurity, and computer vision.

Clients appreciate Nick’s ability to quickly understand the complex technical aspects of their inventions. They also value his ability to distill and explain both the technical and legal aspects, in a manner that can be easily understood.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Nick was an electrical engineer at TRW in Elyria, Ohio and the Nordson Corporation in Amherst, Ohio.
