Profile

Payam's practice includes representing the firm's health care clients in litigation and transactional matters. He works with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other senior care and housing providers. He advises them on a broad range of issues such as Medicare and Medi-Cal reimbursement, licensure and regulatory issues, resident issues, and contract drafting. Payam also has experience with the legal concerns of nonprofit organizations, having prepared multiple tax exemption applications for the firm's nonprofit clients.

Prior to joining Hanson Bridgett, Payam worked as a legal extern in the Office of Circuit Executive for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and as a legal intern in the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
