Associate

Philippe joined Lavery as a student in 2021 and now practises as a lawyer in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution group. He is a graduate of Université Laval?s Faculty of Law and holds a certificate in public communications.

Concurrently with his studies, Philippe worked with an associate professor as a research assistant in information technology law. He also worked as a student at a boutique litigation firm specializing in professional, disciplinary and commercial law.

Throughout his career, Philippe has been involved in a number of extracurricular activities, including as Vice-President of Finance for the Association des étudiantes et étudiants en droit. Among other things, this role enabled him to set up the annual Bourse de la résilience, a bursary that recognizes the perseverance of a member of the Association who has overcome personal difficulties during their studies.

Philippe also had the opportunity to put his legal skills and knowledge to use as Université Laval?s representative at the 43rd Pierre-Basile-Mignault Moot Court Competition, where he focused on a fictional litigation case dealing with contract law and civil liability.
