Profile

Pinky Siu is a Partner in Deacons' Investment Funds practice. She has substantial experience advising on the establishment of a wide range of funds in Hong Kong, including retail SFC-authorised funds, exchange-traded funds, constituent funds of MPF schemes, approved pooled investment funds and index-tracking collective investment schemes.

Pinky also does licensing and compliance work, and regularly advises her clients on SFC and other regulatory related matters.

Significant Accomplishments
- Advising on application for approval of regulated collective investment schemes; liaising with regulators - including the SFC, MPFA, Stock Exchange and AMCM (Monetary Authority of Macao); preparing and reviewing relevant documentation
- Advising on matters relating to ongoing compliance issues for SFC licensed corporations and representatives, SFC-authorised collective investment schemes, and marketing of SFC-authorised collective investment schemes in Hong Kong
- Advising on establishment of private funds and relevant documentation
- Preparing and reviewing general commercial agreements
- Advising on Hong Kong securities law and regulatory matters, including disclosures of interests and short position reporting
