Profile

Pooja’s practice focuses on transactional matters involving venture-backed companies. Her experience includes formation, financing, corporate governance, securities matters, and mergers and acquisitions.

She represents companies in all stages of their business life cycle, ranging from as early as pre-incorporation to exit and everything in between. She also works with angel, venture, and other strategic investors seeking to invest in the vibrant local, regional, national, and global tech markets.

Prior to joining the firm, Pooja served as a law clerk to the general counsel of Prudential Financial in the Prudential Real Estate Investor Group. She also worked as an intern in the honors law program at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Enforcement Division.

In addition, Pooja is involved in various pro bono matters. She advised citizens on their voting rights through Lowenstein’s nonpartisan National Election Protection Hotline. Through Seton Hall University's Investor Advocacy Project, Pooja represented clients with claims resulting from unsuitable investment strategies and unauthorized trading activity in settlement negotiations. She also volunteered in Seton Hall University's Southern District of New York Mediation Practicum, where she represented clients in mediation for employment claims.

Represented VTS (formerly View the Space) in its acquisition of Hightower.
