Profile

Jeb Madigan is a litigation Associate, representing clients in complex commercial litigation, including patent, trademark, and copyright matters. He has experience litigating disputes in federal and state trial and appellate courts. Jeb also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients and leading the Firm’s efforts in coaching students from Flushing High School in annual moot court and mock trial competitions sponsored by the Justice Resource Center.

From 2009 to 2011, Jeb served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Gary L. Sharpe of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Representing a global medical device manufacturer in anti-fraud and civil RICO action.

Represented a major manufacturer of nutritional supplements in anti-counterfeiting investigation and action, successfully seizing and destroying millions of counterfeits and recovering millions of dollars in settlements.

Patent Infringement
Successfully represented a global medical device manufacturer in defense of claims for patent infringement.

Representing a global medical device manufacturer in pursuit of claims for patent infringement.

False Advertising
Represented a leading chocolate and confections company in a putative class action alleging product packaging violations under federal and state slack-fill statutes.

Securities and Antitrust Litigation
Representing a European organization in connection with a putative class action alleging violations of the Sherman Act and the Commodity Exchange Act based on alleged manipulation of the precious metals market.

Represented a major pharmaceutical company in defense of RICO lawsuit alleging fraudulent promotional practices for two prescription drug products.

Represented financial guarantors in complex contract and fraud actions concerning residential mortgage-backed securities.

Pro Bono
Represented minor in personal injury action, successfully arguing before the First Department for reversal of the lower court’s denial of summary judgment.
