Profile

Rachel’s practice focuses on working with companies on matters related to their daily business needs, including corporate formations and governance, commercial contracts, and transactional matters.  Her experience includes working with all types of clients, from start-ups to enterprises.

She has deal team experience ranging from small to multi-million dollar transactions.  Her experience also includes advising clients on general corporate governance and negotiating commercial contracts, to protect their business needs and their relationships with their manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.

Prior to finding her home in corporate law, Rachel worked for many years in the food and beverage industry where she developed extensive customer service and leadership skills.  Rachel draws on this experience to connect with clients on a personal level.  Her background and experiences provide a unique perspective when it comes to understanding clients’ businesses and assisting business owners in achieving their objectives.

After leaving the food and beverage industry, Rachel’s path led her to Dinsmore & Shohl LLP where she worked as a legal assistant.  She gained valuable experience involving transactions and business growth as well as exit planning initiatives and decided to further her knowledge by attending the evening division at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University.  At Duquesne, Rachel served as an editor for the Duquesne Law Review and was involved with a multitude of leadership roles and student organizations.

After graduation, Rachel rejoined Dinsmore.  She feels very fortunate to launch and grow her legal career where her interest in law began.

When out of the office, she spends her time obsessing over her rescue cats, Sunny and Dylan and Vinny, who were adopted from Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue.
