Profile

Raffaello Stefano De Marco has developed a specific expertise in the intellectual property law sector, with an emphasis on trademarks, copyright, unfair competition, internet and new technologies.

He advises Italian and foreign clients in acquiring and exploiting intellectual property rights, including a wide licensing activity.
In addition, he acts in complex court litigations, with particular focus on trademark and copyright infringements, unfair competition acts, misleading advertising and domain names disputes.

After graduating in Law maxima from the Catholic University of Milan in 2000, he attended the English and International Law specialization course at the London Guildhall University (UK) in 2002, the Intellectual Property Law specialization course at the London Metropolitan University (UK) in 2004 and the 42nd Academy of American and International Law organized by The Center for American and International Law, Dallas (TX, USA) in 2005.

He is speaker at workshop on intellectual property law and author of numerous legal publications on, inter alia, Giurisprudenza Italiana, Il Diritto industriale and Il Foro Padano. He is member of the Alumni Association of the Academy of American and International Law and of the ITechLaw association. He has been admitted to practice law in Italy in 2003 and is a member of the Milan Bar Association.
