Raymond joined the Lavery team following the 2016 Course Aux Stages process. He completed the B.C.L/LL.B. combined program at McGill University in the spring of 2017.

Raymond was at heavily involved in student life at the Faculty of Law at McGill University where he served as the Vice-President (Internal) of the McGill Law Students? Association, planning social and athletic activities for fellow students. He spearheaded the ?Kilometres for a Cause? fundraiser linking students physical activity and fundraising for the Native Women?s Shelter of Montreal.

Before his studies in law, Raymond completed a Bachelors of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba, which included a semester abroad at l?École Supérieure de Commerce in La Rochelle, France.

After completing his first degree, Raymond spent 2 years working for Statistics Canada both in Winnipeg and at the Head Office in Ottawa.

During his time at Lavery, Raymond has participated in files from the firm?s various practice groups, including mandates of drafting and reviewing documents as well as performing legal research. He has also participated in the preparation of materials used by lawyers and professionals at the firm in the context of their giving conferences and presentations.
