Profile

I have considerable litigation (trial and appellate) experience, particularly in relation to multi-jurisdictional patent disputes, interlocutory disputes, the analysis of patent infringement and validity and in the preparation of evidence with expert witnesses.

I have acted in numerous advisory and contentious trade mark, copyright and consumer law disputes. I am also an experienced commercial lawyer with front-end experience drafting and negotiating commercialisation agreements, IP licences and confidentiality agreements.

In addition to my legal qualifications, I have a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Pharmacology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and a Masters in Intellectual Property Law. My technical background is invaluable in my development of commercial and litigation strategies and in my dealings with clients and expert witnesses. It equips me with an intellectual curiosity and drive to understand and realise clients' commercial objectives.

I am a member of the Victorian Committee of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia & New Zealand (IPSANZ).
