Profile

Straightforward product liability counsel informed by litigation experience

Sara Scullen is an experienced litigator who provides guidance on product liability, premise liability and personal injury matters to a wide range of product manufacturers, including those who manufacture large industrial equipment, medical devices, alcohol beverages and motor vehicles. Her straightforward and cost-effective counsel and defense strategies help clients facing product defense and negligence claims, product recalls, lemon laws and toxic exposure claims. She also represents clients in complex litigation matters, particularly in the construction industry.

Previously, Sara spent more than 20 years in public service, as both an assistant district attorney in the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office and a court commissioner in Waukesha County Circuit Court. In these roles, she gained invaluable experience both trying and presiding over cases, as well as advising and training members of the judiciary.

Sara is deeply committed to giving back to the community, including through pro bono work. She volunteers her time helping a domestic abuse hotline, pursuing injunctions for victims of violence and working to gain special immigration status for children in Wisconsin.
