Sean counsels clients on acquiring, licensing, and enforcing intellectual property rights. He advises clients, including multinational retail corporations, on trademark prosecution, opposition, and cancellation proceedings. Sean also advises clients on issues related to open source software compliance and privacy law and has experience prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

He has extensive experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of agreements related to intellectual property and technology, including intercompany intellectual property license agreements, trademark licenses, software licenses, cloud computing agreements, joint development agreements, intellectual property acquisition agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. Sean aims to negotiate and draft these agreements to enable his clients to enforce, utilize, monetize, acquire, and divest intellectual property rights in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
